
Daniel Kurowski, MPH
Interim Vice President
Mr. Kurowski is HCCI’s expert in government and oversees HCCI’s government data assets and analytics, including Medicare, Medicaid, and State all-payer claims databases. His research focuses on how policy changes impact utilization of health care services, particularly in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Prior to joining HCCI, Daniel worked at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services where he managed fee-for-service claims data and the post-acute care quality assessment data, leading several Medicare spending transparency reports.
Daniel received his MPH in health policy from the Boston University School of Public Health and a BS in human biology and a BA in history from the University of California, San Diego.
A true native of southern California, Daniel enjoys spending time at the beach, hiking and going to Dodgers games whenever the schedule permits.
